AWS Solutions Architect Professional

An AWS Solutions Architect Professional is a highly skilled professional who has earned the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification by demonstrating expertise in designing and deploying advanced AWS solutions. AWS Solutions Architects Professionals work with customers to understand their business needs, design highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and secure AWS applications, and oversee the implementation of these solutions.

Here are a few examples of the types of work an AWS Solutions Architect Professional might do:

  1. Designing highly scalable and fault-tolerant applications: An AWS Solutions Architect Professional might work with a customer to design a highly scalable, fault-tolerant application that can handle millions of users. They would consider factors such as the customer’s budget, performance requirements, data privacy needs, and regulatory compliance. They would use advanced AWS services such as Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS), AWS Lambda, and Amazon DynamoDB to build the application.
  2. Implementing DevOps practices: An AWS Solutions Architect Professional might work with a customer to implement DevOps practices that enable the customer to deploy applications faster, with greater reliability and automation. They would work with the customer to implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and to automate the deployment and management of infrastructure using tools such as AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeDeploy, and AWS CloudFormation.
  3. Designing advanced networking solutions: An AWS Solutions Architect Professional might work with a customer to design an advanced networking solution that enables secure, high-performance connectivity between on-premises data centers and AWS. They would consider factors such as network latency, bandwidth requirements, and security requirements, and use advanced AWS services such as Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), AWS Direct Connect, and Amazon Route 53 to build the solution.
  4. Migrating complex applications to the cloud: An AWS Solutions Architect Professional might work with a customer to migrate a complex, multi-tier application to the AWS cloud. They would assess the customer’s existing infrastructure, identify the components that need to be moved to the cloud, and determine the best AWS services to use for the migration. They might use advanced migration tools such as AWS Server Migration Service (SMS) or AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) to simplify the migration process.

AWS Solutions Architects Professionals work with customers to design and deploy highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and secure AWS applications that meet their business needs. They need to have a deep understanding of advanced AWS services, DevOps practices, and networking concepts, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
