Prerequisites

Candidates may also benefit from experience with Azure Information Protection, Windows Server, and PowerShell. Additionally, Microsoft recommends that candidates have earned one of the following certifications before taking the SC-400 exam:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
However, these certifications are not required to take the SC-400 exam.
