Prequisites
To become an AWS Authorized Instructor (AAI), you need to meet the following prerequisites:
Hold a current AWS certification: You must hold a current AWS certification in the area(s) in which you wish to teach. This demonstrates your expertise in AWS technologies and services.
Have instructional skills or experience: You need to have at least one year of instructional skills or experience, such as teaching, training, coaching, or mentoring. This can be in any technical or non-technical field.
Pass the AAI exam: You need to pass the AAI exam, which tests your knowledge of AWS products and services, as well as your ability to deliver effective training.
Meet performance requirements: You must meet certain performance requirements, such as delivering a certain number of training sessions per year.
Apply for the AAI program: You need to apply for the AAI program and pay the annual fee. The fee covers access to the AAI program benefits, such as access to AWS's official courseware, software licenses, and support, as well as invitations to exclusive events and training opportunities.It’s important to note that meeting these prerequisites doesn’t guarantee acceptance into the AAI program.
