Azure Governance and Compliance is a set of tools and services that enable organizations to manage and enforce policies, monitor compliance, and secure their cloud infrastructure in Azure. Here are some examples of tools and services that are part of Azure Governance and Compliance:

  1. Azure Policy:
  • Azure Policy enables organizations to create, enforce, and manage policies for their Azure resources.
  • Policies can be created using JSON files and can be used to enforce regulatory requirements, security policies, and best practices.
  • Azure Policy enables you to ensure that resources deployed in your Azure environment are compliant with your organization’s policies and standards.
  1. Azure Blueprints:
  • Azure Blueprints provides a way to package and share a set of Azure resources, policies, and configurations as a single solution.
  • Blueprints can be used to automate the deployment of standard environments, such as a new application environment or a compliance environment.
  • Azure Blueprints enables you to ensure that new environments are deployed consistently and are compliant with your organization’s policies and standards.
  1. Azure Resource Graph:
  • Azure Resource Graph enables organizations to query and analyze their Azure resources and metadata at scale.
  • Resource Graph can be used to find resources that are non-compliant with your organization’s policies, or to search for resources based on certain criteria, such as resource type or location.

  • Azure Security Center provides a centralized view of security alerts and recommendations for your Azure environment.
  • Security Center can be used to detect and respond to security threats, identify security vulnerabilities, and enforce security policies.
  • Security Center provides recommendations for hardening resources and improving the security posture of your Azure environment.

  • Azure Compliance Manager helps organizations assess and manage compliance with regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Compliance Manager provides a dashboard that enables you to track your organization’s compliance posture and monitor progress.
  • Compliance Manager provides assessments for regulations and standards such as GDPR, ISO 27001, and NIST.
