Azure Service Health

Azure Service Health is a free Azure service that provides up-to-date information about the status of Azure services and regions. It helps customers to stay informed about the health and availability of their Azure resources and proactively respond to any issues or disruptions that may affect their services.

Azure Service Health provides the following capabilities:

  1. Service Health Dashboard: Azure Service Health provides a centralized dashboard that displays the current health status of all Azure services and regions. It provides real-time information about any service issues, planned maintenance, and service advisories that may affect your resources.
  2. Notifications: Azure Service Health provides customizable notifications that can be sent via email, SMS, or webhook. You can set up notifications to be alerted when service issues occur or when service advisories are published.
  3. Historical Information: Azure Service Health provides access to historical data about past service issues and maintenance events, which can be used for troubleshooting and planning.
  4. Integration: Azure Service Health integrates with other Azure services, such as Azure Monitor and Azure Resource Health, to provide a comprehensive view of the health and performance of your Azure resources.

Examples of Azure Service Health notifications include:

  1. Service Health Alerts: Azure Service Health sends alerts when a service issue or outage occurs that may impact your resources. For example, you may receive an alert if there is a network outage that affects your virtual machines or if there is an issue with your Azure storage accounts.
  2. Planned Maintenance Notifications: Azure Service Health sends notifications when there is planned maintenance scheduled for your resources. This allows you to plan ahead and minimize the impact on your services.
  3. Service Advisory Notifications: Azure Service Health sends notifications when there are service advisories published for your resources. This can include information about upcoming feature updates, new service offerings, or changes to service level agreements.

Azure Service Health is accessible through the Azure Portal, Azure CLI, Azure PowerShell, and Azure REST APIs. Customers can use Azure Service Health to monitor the health and performance of their Azure resources and quickly respond to any issues or disruptions that may affect their services.
